Will a 29" wheel fit a Kona Project 2 w/ 410mm a-c ?

I have an old Kona Explosif. (1993). The stock fork is probably 385-390mm a-c. I have converted the bike to 27.5" wheels front and rear. I'd like to try a 29" front wheel but the fork won't clear it.
