The 29er segment is here to stay, and it's slowly expanding into areas many would have never thought it would go. The benefits of big wheelers are now finding there way into the all-mountain and long-travel trail segments of mountain biking. In order to remain stiff and accommodate the longer travel necessary for all-mountain riding, Fox introduces the 34 chassis. With stanchion tubes now 34mm, Fox was able to make the fork track well enough to handle the extra travel. The Fox 34 Float 29 has is designed to be plush and reliable. It's lack of travel adjustment guarantees that the fork is as plush as possible. It is only available with a 1.5 taper steerer so that it remains stiff under braking. If you are constantly finding the suspension limits on your current 29er and are eyeing the new crop of long travel frames available, the Fox 34 Float 29er FIT RLC fork is designed to let you descend with aplomb.
This fork is part of the family of Fox’s ubiquitous FIT-cartridge equipped front suspension found throughout its lineup. New for this year are 34mm stanchions and 29er specific arches (more room for the bigger wheels).
