Strengths:    VERY adjustable. Sensitive straight from the top and can be made to hit full travel in a controlled manner, unlike the previous version which took a huge landing to get to bottom-out.
Very light for a 180mm fork

Weaknesses:    20mm clamp is a pain, but in reality, only takes a minute to undo - Don't forget yer multi-tool ;)

Bottom Line:
Initial impressions are good, esp coming straight from a Float 180 2013 model.
Have removed air-volume spacer and fork is more linear now (for an air-fork). Upped the air pressure an extra 5-8 psi over recommended.

I am building A DIFFERENT bike and want a more linear feel at 180mm. 1) Is the 2013 180 more linear... for real? 2) Maybe I should just get a VAN an ... Read More »
