Strengths:    torsional rigidity, long service intervals, completely replaceable internal cartridge, weight, lack of stiction, slow speed bump absorption.

Weaknesses:    aesthetic?

Bottom Line:
I got on my first Lefty in 2013. I had my doubts. The fork looks weird. Once I got out on a bumpy, rocky, trail that rewards a stiff fork all of my doubts were set to rest. The Lefty fork is a superior design. The needle-bearings allow for the fork to slide smoothly even when cornering hard in deep rocks. I bought my second Lefty in 2014. I wish that I had one on all of my bikes.
