Strengths:    stiff, excellent travel control, quick adjustments for DLA, good a2c length.

Weaknesses:    nothing at all. This is possibly everything u want in a fork.

Bottom Line:
I never knew a fork could feel this amazing. Totally blown away at how good the feel of the fork is.

the mid stroke control was nothing short of amazing.
1. miscued a drop in and the fork held up and didnt endo me over.
2. went hot into a trail berm edge littered with rocks and roots all over, bike was leaning at an odd angle, shat in my pants and thought that i would cased it, but i didnt.
3. didnt see a large rock 30cm height approx.. at the bank of a steep edge, went straight into it, the fork held up soaked it up and the i was able to guide the bike off the edge.

this fork is nothing short of amazing. nothing. it replaced the 36 2011 FIT RC2 talas i had. The 2012 vengeance beats the Talas hands down. I have never been more impressed.

3 of my friends have been riding the 2012 Vengeance as well. they all said the same thing "I never knew a fork could feel this amazing" XF Thank you. it is a truly amazing product.

Opinions on 2013 Vengeance HLR DLA?

Hey everyone, For the last year i've had a 2011 Fox 36 Talas RLC on the front of my Chili. I have an opportunity with X-Fusion to get a brand new fork for a really great price. I'm considering getting the Vengeance DLA (travel adjust) version which is 140-170. Would it be weird to ride trails ... Read More »

Ok So I've ordered a Vengeance HLR 170 as the seam to be highly rated, they've sent me a HLR DLA. Which i was initially worried as I thought the DLA version only had 160mm of travel, but it looks like its 170mm stepping down to 140mm. The DLA unit is more expensive and 200grams heaver, but i ... Please share your impressions, and also let me know how you have it tuned. I'm about 210lb, and with very limited time tuning it, I def ... Read More »
