Strengths: Smooth, precise, strong and just the right amount of flex.Weaknesses: Lack of color choices unlike Niner's forks.Bottom Line: This is my first rigid setup since my Trek 820 Mountain Track from the early 90s and I gotta say I wish forks were like this in the beginning. This fork came on my Surly Karate Monkey and I was considering switching out the fork with a suspension fork before I even got the bike on the trail. After my first ride I felt a little beaten up, but I got used to it and now I don't want to switch. It keeps the bike light-er weight and tracks straight. I heard that this fork is different from the earlier KM forks, being that the earlier ones were very harsh. I don't know for sure, but if you haven't tried this one for 2012, you should, it's great.
