By adding the FIT RLC damper to the 2012 36 Talas 160 FIT RLC 20QR, Fox enhances the open bath technology and offers an incredibly wide range of low-speed compression and rebound adjustments.
If you ride local trails and want the strength to go up the occasional chair lift this will hold up great and soak up plenty of rough landings. If you go REAL BIG you wouldn't be looking at 160mm. For the more daring trail rider who likes to jump and doesn't want to rent for the two or three down hill trips a year this is plenty of beef and travel. I have even found that on the lower setting with a 10-20psi extra it works as a great dirt jump fork at 120mm too which is most of my riding.
