Strengths:    Due to its massive & smooth stanchion plunging in its beefy downtube counterpart, it does'nt take much air pressure to absorb the rider & bike's total wt. Once you found your sweet spot on the high & low speed compression & floodgate, BAM! flip! kick side2side! flying kiss! land no hands! AWESOME DUDE!

Weaknesses:    Sawsall, sledge hammer, s&w357, dremel, mad wife in a car while your bike is in the middle of the garage after wash, wife w/ s&w357. I can go on but dont want wife to have more ideas.

Bottom Line:
This is the ultimate all mountain, FREERIDE, downhill dual crown subst. FORK period. I chosed the solo air which is lighter than the 2P & coil versions. Love the oil drain plugs on each side, you can change oil every after ride. Just keep the wifey happy, it will feel bottomless & comfy.

Lyrik RC2 DH Air vs Totem RC2 DH Coil

Hello, My current bike (Canyon Torque 180 rear) came with Lyrik RC2 DH Air (set to 170). I like the this fork for all around. However lately I'm riding only DH and I feel it kinda squishy and small bump response is not as I want it. Is it worth to swap it for Totem RC2 DH Coil? Will I feel the ... Read More »

2 step 180mm Forks Totem RC2 DH Lyrik RC2 DH or Talas 36 FIT RC2

I am looking at upgrading my Lyrik. I like the fork I have but it is not adjustable enough. It only has lockout and rebound. I was thinking of upgrading to one of the above forks. My Lyrik is a special made 180mm fork. I was told I could have the lockout remote removed and replace it with a Miss ... Read More »

Lyrik RC2 DH coil for Jumps & drops? Or stick with Totem?

Has anyone used a Lyrik RC2 DH 170mm coil for big jumps and drops. I'm currenly using a Totem coil tapered (mission control) which isn't very plush on DH but is sturdy and really dependable when landing jumps and drops (rider 80kg with firm spring). I can only have one bike (just got 2011 Volt ... Read More »

Keep my 09 Totem coil or get Lyrik DH coil? (or Van 36 RC2)

I ride a Bottlerocket with a beefy build, it's my only bike so has to be able to handle downhilling, jumps/Fr stuff and also XC loops. It currently weighs around 38 lbs  I built it up with tapered Totems for a Whi ... Read More »
