Strengths: Due to its massive & smooth stanchion plunging in its beefy downtube counterpart, it does'nt take much air pressure to absorb the rider & bike's total wt. Weaknesses: Sawsall, sledge hammer, s&w357, dremel, mad wife in a car while your bike is in the middle of the garage after wash, wife w/ s&w357. I can go on but dont want wife to have more ideas.
This is the ultimate all mountain, FREERIDE, downhill dual crown subst. FORK period. I chosed the solo air which is lighter than the 2P & coil versions. Love the oil drain plugs on each side, you can change oil every after ride. Just keep the wifey happy, it will feel bottomless & comfy.

Has anyone used a Lyrik RC2 DH 170mm coil for big jumps and drops.
I'm currenly using a Totem coil tapered (mission control) which isn't very plush on DH but is sturdy and really dependable when landing jumps and drops (rider 80kg with firm spring).
