Strengths:    VERY LIGHT & STIFF. Adjustable characteristics if you want the lock-out remote. Easy to adjust and set to proper sag and rebound. I have not yet serviced it yet but looks to be straightforward. It would make a great match with a set of well made wheels and tapered head tube.

Weaknesses:    Maybe price, depends on how much you want to spend. I cant complain because I was lucky enough for SRAM to send it to me for free. I had issues with the stock Revelation on the bike (milling with the through axle was off).

Bottom Line:
4 flaming chilis because price may be an issue but your paying for the weight savings. Bottom line - buttery smooth and super stiff descending and lock-out when ascending. get some carbon fiber in your life!

5.7C, Revelation World Cup and headset slop: FSA expansion plug

Not really a Pivot issue, but figured this was a good place to post (instead of the shock/suspension forum) since a few have the same frame and fork. My first venture into carbon steerer tubes and expansion/compression plugs. The fork is a Revelation World Cup tapered and the frame is the 5.7 car ... Read More »

Nice surprise. '11 Revelation World Cup clears the 2.3 NeoMoto

What a pleasant surprise. My 2011 RockShox Revelation World Cup has plenty of clearance for my 650b Crest and 2.3 Neo Moto! My trails are 99% non-muddy and clearance looks to be about 3 or 4mm to the naked eye. The fork is going on a Pivot Mach 5.7 Carbon which I had every intent of keeping 26/26 ... Read More »
