Strengths:    Light. It weighs a tad bit over 4lbs.

Weaknesses:    Seems like it may have a slight leak in the stantions and I noticed some oil on the rebound Knob. I'm not sure if that is do to some break in but I'll keep a close eye on it.

Bottom Line:
Look good, feel light, so far so good. I had a little incident with an airgauge that made me lose all the air in the fork and lose all travel, but after I posted an unfavorable review, I then went back and figured out that the pump was the problem. The forks recovered all the travel and work fine. I haven't owned these forks a month yet and I live in Michigan and its March. I've been riding every day but unable to ride trails yet. I'll keep you posted on performance. So far its hard to say how it will do on a trail. I hope a lot better than Marzocchi's xc600.

Marathon LR or Tora TK?

I'm getting very close to making a decision regarding purchasing a suspension fork for my HT. I have decided to buy locally, and try to keep the cost down below $300.00 Cdn. So far, I've narrowed it down to a RS Tora TK (X-firm coil spring, 100 mm travel) or a Marzocchi Marathon LR (air spring, 100 ... Read More »

Marzocchi Marathon LR "compression" adjusting

I want to pull the trigger on buying this from from Bluesky, but something has me totally confused. When I look at the description on other sites, like pricepoint, it says in the spec sheet "compression - no", but in the wordy description is says "The coil-alike plushness combined with the air volu ... Marzocchi Marathon LR or R? Would a noob need "compression" adjustability?

I'm upgrading my shock for the first time and I have researched, and found out a lot, but there are a couple of things that I am confused about. I have a Specialized Hardrock disk, 2013 with a 80mm Suntour Pogo on it. I am thinking about either the Marathon LR or Marathon R. [url=http://www ... Read More »
