Strengths:    decent weight, PRICE, platform, rebound, plushness, overall ride-abilty, customer service

Weaknesses:    heavier than a reba or a fox

Bottom Line:
This fork is just as good as anything that Fox or RockShox, etc is putting out. I've been riding it for 6 months and love it. Got it for $300 new on ebay which is HALF the price of a RS or Fox. the only penalty is a few more ounces. The fork weighed 3.6 lbs on my scale i think.

I've been riding for 15 years so i know what a good fork is. the Minute is plush, it works through the travel well, very tunable, nice linear feel and no flex that i can tell. (i had an R7 that was very flexy). its also predictable. I like the platform ABS + system. i ride it open mostly or turn it 1/2-3/4 closed for long climbs. and of course lock it out on the road.

The sad part is that manitou make s great product and has excellent customer service and they do like ZERO advertisign so most folks don't give them any credit. the forks are easy to work on too.

I have the 100 mm version.

Minute Pro 140mm basic questions

I am 180 lbs and got a 140 Minute Pro 2012, I have never had such a nice fork. I am super impressed and also wanted to thank those who praised this fork as when I researched forks I had not even known about it. Out of the box it worked great, literally bolted on and rode with what air was in it. How ... Read More »

Did I just score a deal!? (Manitou Minute Pro 140mm tapered TA20mm)

Got a Manitou Minute Pro 140mm Tapered 20mm thru axle for $232 from an eBay auction yesterday - brand new in factory box... I read pretty nice comments and reviews about new Manitou products (2011+) and how they were underrated etc...... The price just seemed right considering its brand new/never ... Read More »

Anyone using one of these: Manitou Minute Pro / Manitou Radium Expert? (2012-13)

Hi guys, I couldn't find much reviews or comments on newer Manitou stuff. I'm currently interested in those for my new (budget) build: Fork: Manitou Minute Pro 140mm Shock: Manitou Radium Expert 190/50 I read some good things about those on the (very) few posts I found here and the price is damn ... Manitou Minute Pro 26 120mm 20mm-axle weight

I need a new XC fork but unfortunately I can not find my favorite Reba with 20mm thru axle anymore. It seems Manitou Minute Pro is really light on paper but few reviews mentioned that is noticeable heavier (about 300gr for thru axle version) than declared 1657gr. . However those reviews are quite ... Read More »

Manitou Minute Pro 100mm QR Question

Hi everyone, I'm considering a Manitou Minute Pro 100mm QR to use with my new XC hard tail build. My original budget for the fork was $300, but I got offered this Manitou for $350 brand new. Is this a good deal? If not, does anyone have recommendations for a XC fork around $300? P.S. If a ... Read More »
