Strengths:    Stiff, strong, plush, responsive, lightweight, easy to maintain, easy to disassemble and reassemble.

Weaknesses:    Poor seals and lack of oil in lowers due to the seals.

Bottom Line:
I have owned this fork for a year and love it. I like the minimalist style the fork offers. No complexity of multiple knobs for adjustment. Just air it up and set the rebound and that is it. The absence of the knobs is what helps contribute to the lighter weight. I am not a weight weenie, but I do try to cut some weight where it's not needed.

This fork does come with poor seals from the factory as well as very little oil in the lowers. After speaking with Chris at RWC, I am now using their fork seals as well as 10cc of Mobil 5w30 in the lowers. I also use Maxima fork oil in the damper and RWC's pillow pack in the air chamber. The result has been an even more plush and responsive ride than when it came from the factory.

Fox RLC vs Magura Durin SL

Hi, what would you recommend: Should I choose Fox RLC or Magura Durin SL? Which of these is stiffer? I'm an 85kg rider and would prefer reliability over some extra weight reductions. Many thanks.Read More »
