Strengths: This is actually for the RC2 180mm kashima not the R.
Supple, tuneable, light, adjustments work phenominal, doesnt bottom like years past, smooth has a great mid speed and the hydraulic bottom out is dialed.Weaknesses: A little flexy but not a weekness it tracks like a razor blade.....Bottom Line: The fork is the best production fork I have ever used off the shelf to date. I was always soso'd about fox being a bigger guy and they always bottom.
This is an amazing fork, I raced it DH and ride freeride / am and LOVE this thing.
It stays glued to the trail, it has amazing small bump and with the mid speed valve it does NOT dive in the face of jumps or under heavy braking. Has hydraulic bottom out which keeps your face off hte ground and fork intact.
It does flex a little but thats not an issue I had 32mm boxxer wcs that flexed a bit and found that to be an advantage as in deflection and tracking with less arm pump in the chatter....
I literally will recomend this fork if asked it has a wide variety of tuning and does all of it really well as well as the longer lowers and bushing overlap keeps it from having front/back slop like a mini for 40...
Id give it more chillis if I hadnt eaten the other ones...
