Strengths: Smoothness, stiffness, build qualityWeaknesses: Price, weight, no remote lock-out.Bottom Line: This is for the 100 mm F29 with Kashima coating.
First thing I noticed was the smoothness of this fork due to the combination of Kashima coating and FIT-cartridge.
Although it has the 9 mm QR drop-outs it is very stiff and precise.
In combination with the big wheels this fork gives so much control and comfort in the descending.
Recommended for: XC riders, racers should consider the Terralogic version.
Not recommended for: heavy riders, they should consider the 15mm QR version.

Strengths: Very adjustable, super smoothWeaknesses: Poor stanchion seals, Usually come low on oil in the lowers.Bottom Line: This is a great fork overall. Just make sure you replace the fork seals right away to keep dirt out of the fork. Enduroseals are a good replacement. make sure to check the oil in the lowers from the factory. They are usually low to the recommend amounts.

Strengths: VERY adjustable, lock out on full is almost like a ridged fork, but can be adjusted to blow off at your comfort level. 15mm thru allows me to hold a better line over rough sections. the fork is really quite laterally stiff. Set is very easy and logical just read the manual and adjust the fork to your style of riding. I weight 145lb and this fork easily adjusts to my weight and riding style.Weaknesses: OK price but isn't that with everything lately. $10,000 Mtb $16,000 road bikes. Look wisely and you can find deals I bought mine new from another rider for $560. So far the fork is performing perfectly.Bottom Line: Only a month but I never think about fork, the Kashima doesn't seem to make that much of a difference, but all in all, I clear harder sections and feel more confident on downhills runs. Definitely a great XC fork, I would highly recommend this fork but with a caveat look around for a good price. ( $800 is ludicrous and It is not just Fox but the industry as a whole) The review is on the product not product pricing, value rating is on the cost.

Strengths: Stiffness , adjust-ability , looks , hype , warranty , lightweightWeaknesses: too expensive (but its worth it )Bottom Line: This fork is solid the kashima coat looks sweet and performs as it should get the 15 mm thru axle if you can that makes a world difference. the fit dampening is perfect for xc soaks the little stuff and doesn't ever bottom out. The whole for fork is a good situation there is not a negative thing I could say

Strengths: Light and stiff, 3.2 lbs uncut! Kashima coat is super slick!Weaknesses: The only thing I can think of is price, suspension is really getting out of hand, but after riding it I would gladly pay it again, guess I'm just a cheapskate.Bottom Line: I have ridden a lot of forks out there and had heard all the hype about the FOX products, well folks it is not hype. The difference in weight is immediately noticeable and the performance of the overall package is head and shoulders above any other fork I have ever ridden. Like I said it is pricey, but I would line up to pay it again now that I know the whole story.
