Strengths:    I'm pretty happy with this shock. Always been a big Fox fan (still am). For the price this one really performs. Small bumps are non-existant, medium bumps are easily felt, and large bumps are eaten without effort. I am blown away at the stiffness - even with a 9mm quick release there is no flex - the 15mm thru must be perfect. At 210 lbs. I've dangerously flexed some lesser travel forks. Good graphics / colors. Appears solid built. Good price. Really light for 140mm. Doesn't mind 4' drops, but nimble enought for 100 mile endurance racing.

Weaknesses:    Weaps slightly more than Rockshox and Fox after harsh rides. Not many adjustments on the single shot base models. Don't know if my LBS knows how to rebuild one.

Bottom Line:

Would buy another. At the time of this posting there was not a 29er version, but hope there will be soon. Surprised at how good it is.
Raced a Scalpel with a tiny DT Swiss rear shock for 4 years and it never leaked air, needed oil, or a rebuild.
