Strengths: Plush, Launch control, consistent compression, stiffWeaknesses: Slightly less dialing options than Fox RLC,Bottom Line: Firstly, This is the first fork i've used with more than 100mm travel, so my review is obviously biased from an XC-perspective. That said, with moderate expectations since DT is a new kid on the block and the fox i've reidden earlier was supposed to be the best in its class, at least one of the most plush and compliant forks, I was really, really impressed by the EXM-130. It is very plush, no stiction even out of the box and it handles everything from small bumps to medium hits very well. It bottoms out with drops from say 3-4 feet but i've set it up primarily with aggressive xc in mind, ie. fairly soft so I guess its possible to dial it in a more hardcore fashion as well. It is light and precise and my bike feels almost as nimble as my Epic w 100 mm, although it has a slacker head ange with the EXM so steering is slower.I've used it riding technical trails with some drops and such and it really takes it all in a stride. I have a lot of fun with it, but I cant say how it handles downhill riding, but It has a sturyd feel and its stiffer than my float 32 so its probably fairly competent at speed as well. Buy it if You ride mostly XC but likes to do some technical stuff and drops/jumps as well. 5 chilis for value at the price paid, a weak 5 chili for performance. Had it been lighter it would've been a solid 5.
