Strengths:    Value and quality. Very plush. Confidence booster. light at under 4 pounds.

Weaknesses:    none

Bottom Line:
Bought this hard tail when my fs died while my pockets were empty. I still ride very aggressive and this fork is bomber. 130 mm of travel fits this frame nice. I am not a small guy at around 200 lbs but just 'set it and forget it.' virtually no maintenance. Products for 2010 look real nice. More options. You can buy all forks directly from x-fusion. I like supporting the little guy. Shocks and forks similar to fox with a lower price tag.

2011 X-Fusion Velvet R vs. 2012 Velvet RL2 (Help me decide)

Well, I'm looking to get a new fork to replace my Marzocchi 44 that came with my bike. The Marzocchi is a 140mm, so I'm looking at getting either one of the forks in the title. PAID SPAM: Medium Beasely w/Velvet R + Stock Fork

Hi all, Selling this awesome bike rather reluctantly. It's a solid deal with two forks and two sets of tires (Nevs and Neos). Check it out below: http://classifieds.mtbr.com/showproduct.php?product=42751 Thanks, BrendanRead More »

X-Fusion Velvet R Q's

For any of you have bought or used this fork for 650B... How easy is it to change the travel? Similar to RS and Fox in that it's just a spacer? Really close to pulling the trigger on a one, but the travel adjust is key. (Need only 80mm to start and will move up to 100mm later) Thanks. -ARead More »

velvet r vs. recon 351 u-turn

Any thoughts or opinions on these shocks. The Velvet r sounds like a good fork, albeit w/o all the options that the Recon has.Read More »
