Strengths: stiff, plush, so far maintenance free, looks mean.Weaknesses: no tapered head tube in black stockBottom Line: I love this fork. does exactly what its supposed to. I use it on a heavy duty all mountain bike. It's saved my ass many times landing a little squirrely on drops or picking a bad line on a downhill. 6 foot drops to flat feel bottomless. It would be sweet if they sold all combinations of colors and head tubes. I had to swap a headtube/stanchion assembly to get the combo I needed. That was a piece of cake though. I've yet to rebuild it after a whole season of 12 hours a week but it'll be easy when it comes time. I've seen it for $550 lately. It's a no brainer at that price.

Strengths: Smooth
Zero flex
Damping
Weaknesses: As a FR/DH fork it doesn't have anyBottom Line: I was looking for more fork than my Lyrik but didn't want to lose the reliability my Lyrik had shown for 2 years. The Totem fit the bill.
It's confidence inspiring and the Mission Control DH enables me to set it up as I like. The heavier weight spring in the box was a nice bonus.
