from Zurich, Switzerland Date Reviewed: November 21, 2010 Strengths: - It works, which is more than I can say for other forks I've had. - Lower axel to crown height than the Marzocchi 66 - Relatively light - Travel adjust makes going uphill easier. - 35mm dropped mode can be useful for lower speed maneuverability when riding tight twisty stuff. Weaknesses: - Not very supple, my last Totem Solo Air was also like this out of the box. It took until after the first service to loosen up. I hope the 2 step is the same. - You must physically pull the fork upward to get it to extend to long travel mode. (at least at the pressure I run it at). - Compression damping range goes from 'too much' to 'way too much.'
