Favorite Trail:eagle nationals track
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Purchased At:private sale
Strengths:less flex than previous model, beefier, smooth, cheap and light.
Weaknesses:none for me!
Similar Products Used:2005 boxxer ride, 2006 boxxer race, team, world cup, fox 40, monster T, 2006 888.
Bike Setup:intense m6, 2010 races up front, DHX 5.0 w Ti spring, 721's laced to DT's, juicy7's, full on bars, holtzfellor cranks, mrp device
Bottom Line:I love them! mostly for the looks and the increased size (hated how slim and flexi the old one are!) also work great and have many options.
Look sick on my intense.

Date Reviewed: September 25, 2009
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $700.00
Purchased At:Ride On Bikes
Strengths:Good price, simple adjustments that work.
Weaknesses:Sticky stock lube in the seals. Needed some Judy Butter to fix the problem.
Similar Products Used:05 Rock Shox Boxxer Team, Manitou Travis.
Bike Setup:Mongoose Boot'r
Bottom Line:For the money I paid I have been very impressed with this fork. It is very responsive on all the bumps and it handles big hits very well. It doesn't have a ton of adjustments but the ones it does have work great.

I was a little disappointed with the sticky stock lube in the seals and there is still a little work that I have to do on it (new seal and a new rebound damper).

I do need to mention that the rebound damper has in no way had a negative effect on the forks performance. Its just a little noisy on really low speed bumps and Rock Shox was more than willing to send me the damper free of charge.

Overall I would highly recommend this fork to anyone who is looking for a nice fork at a relatively affordable price.
