Strengths: super stiff, super plush, gorgeous, has amazing ramp up at the end for big hits but still soaks up the little stuff. the adjustments work great
Weaknesses: the adjustment knobs could be more durable, i broke off the rebound knob, but it was replaced free of charge by those amazing guys at marzocchi, and quickly too
Bottom Line:
this fork is the best ive ever ridden. people say that the totem is the pinnacle of long travel single crown performance, not true, Marzocchi all the way! the costumer service at marzocchi is glorious. the stiffness in this fork is amazing. i love my marzocchi to death, but it is a tad on the hefty/burly side, so if you dont go big, and dont need a completely bomb proof fork, as in an all mountain rider or xc rider, dont get this fork, all together my bike weights just about 42 pounds, s obviously im not a weight weenie. another thing is that sometimes on some sorta awkward hits the fork will clank a little, but thats just the coil inside. the rebound and compression adjustments work great. bottom line-i live this fork to death, and will never venture away from my beloved zokes
Bike Setup: kona stinky, fox van r, hayes stroker trail
