Strengths: Loads of adjustmentWeaknesses: Takes more than a ride or two to get dialedBottom Line: Make sure you have access to a shock pump-- you'll want to play with the pressure a bit when setting sag. I found I prefer a stiffer feel than Fox recommends at my weight (6ft, 185 with gear) And be willing to familiarize yourself with the adjustments. Once you do, you'll have a great fork for 99.9% of the conditions you'll encounter.
Coming from a Fox Vanilla (coil) Fork, I couldn't be happier.
As my fork was spec'd on my bike, I'm giving 5 chilis for value. But like any other Fox product, you'll have to work hard to get a good deal.

Strengths: Very plush when set-up with proper sag. Easy to adjust. Good service from Fox when needed.Weaknesses: None so-farBottom Line: I rode a Motolite for 5 years with a Talas. I thought that was a nice fork. Wrong, feels like junk compared to the new FIT fork! Very Very plush on small trail junk. Roots and rocks no deflection at all. The biggest difference is on off-camber corners with roots. Man this thing holds a line like its on a rail. Not sure if its because of the 15mm axle or just the FIT internals but boy what a difference. Bottom line, You can't do much better when used as intended. Great fork!!!!!!!!!!!!

Strengths: first off not sure how this other reviewer got this fork on Greenfish for $549, their advertised price is $729 and that's for the 9mm qr not even the 15mm ta. Call Chad at Redbarn! Love this fork so far (3 months of use) lots of adjust-ability that you can actually feel. Very stiff on landings and turns at speed. The 15mm TA is excellent paired with my CKing front hub, just knowing it's there has improved my confidence, qr is roadie crap. love it on my 08 turner 5.5 spot an AM rock garden wrecking ball. 3.7 lbs = lightweight in my mind for an 140mm fork with 15mm ta too.Weaknesses: no handle bar remote lockout would be a neg w/some, I guess it would be nice, but it climbs very well in full travel, no issues at all here. probably getting 135mm of travel out of the 140 advertised. nothing new here with any fork mfr.Bottom Line: a good fork, stiff, light weight, great for trail bikes to light/med duty freeride stuff.

Strengths: Light, highly adjustable, swallows up everythingWeaknesses: Color, skewer handle and dropouts interfer with each other (very minor complaint, not a problem by any means), fork adjustments hit frame when handles bars try spinning around (again..very minor complaint, not a problem by any means)Bottom Line: This is for the regular Q/R version. Coming from a spring style fork with only rebound adjustment... this thing absolutly rocks. And this lockout stuff is amazing! Climbs are totally different, much better now. This fork gobbles the little stuff and the drops /big stuff are like marshmellows now. Very easily adjustable, lockout on the fly is much easier then i thought itwas goning to be. The fork has out done my expectations so far. If its this good now, i cant wait to see what PUSH can do to it in the future. I recommend this for hard XC and AM riding, i will be testing DH next month. Greenfishsports.com had an unbeatable price, free s/h (2 days), free t-shirt, free gift pack, and great customer service. Two thumbs up for them! I wouldn't have bought it for the price everyone else has it, only cause i'm poor. But i think its worth it regardless.
