Strengths:travel adjust is a nice thing as u ride uphill you can change ur bike into pure xc machine and when u ride downhill u simply turn the knob i think about 13 or 14 half-turns and u got freeride machine absorbing every hit with incredible plushness

price paid

easy to setup, rebound works well, with motion control you can even lock it
Weaknesses:weight
i think it dives a bit but its a long travel fork and i haven't got used to it yet
Similar Products Used:rst gila tl, rockshox jett, suntour xcr :D not very similar... in fact i think thats my first REAL fork
Bike Setup:Giant Reign 150mm maestro, rs domain 318 160 mm uturn, conti vertical 2,3 f, conti gravity pro 2,3 r, avid bb7 203mm front, shomano xtr vbrake rear, some shaman racing stuff like stem, seatpost and rise bar, wtb rocket v saddle...
Bottom Line:i got 318 uturn version with 160mm travel, i'm runing on stock oil still but have srilled two extra holes into motion control damper, ill probably have to change the spring for softer as i'm too light (70kg)
it's realy worth buing if u re riding all mountain or enduro as u can setup the travel when riding uphill it realy helps alot and lockout also... its very plush and also progressivity of spring in the end i great! i have never bottomed out with full travel set... but if u re building a lightweight bike its not the proper fork for you

Favorite Trail:FR and easy downhill
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $550.00
Purchased At:bike-mailorder.de
Strengths:Buttery and smoth. Adjustable rebound and compression. Adjustable stiffness with internal preload using bricks. Really easy to change spring and adjust preload! Use same spring as the one to Domain 302. Good looking!
Weaknesses:Gives a small squeaking noice on really rugh, rocky trails but I've only run it for 2 days so it may disappear.
Bike Setup:Scott Nitrous 10
Bottom Line:A great fork for a nice price! Im perfectly satisfied with this fork after I've changed the spring to a softer one. Im a beginner and weigh about 70kg (154pounds) and with the SOFT spring it gives me a perfect suspension even on the rocky parts. Buy it!

Favorite Trail:Sudbourn
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $500.00
Purchased At:Ebay
Strengths:Very Strong. Very adjustable, at its hardest setting almost feels like it is locked and at its softest it is so very plushy.
Weaknesses:Slightly heavy which could be a problem to some people, but i don't mind as it performs so well.
Similar Products Used:Rockshox, Marzocchi, Manitou
Bottom Line:I love this fork! Very good fork for free-ride/downhill.
Just set and go, no need to think about it again until the next run.
One of my favorite forks.
Very good quality for the price

Favorite Trail:Van Isle
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $200.00
Purchased At:Russ Hays
Strengths:very stiff, not heavy 6.3 lbs, compression and rebound controls work well, initial travel is very buttery and then ramps up quickly half way through stroke
Weaknesses:have found none.
Similar Products Used:have ridden boxxers for last 5 years, used many smaller forks before
Bike Setup:giant faith
Bottom Line:had trouble finding a shop that would rebuild older boxxer, saw this on the blow out sale wall, it was cheaper than the boxxer rebuild, so i grabbed it instead, i had never seen one or even heard of one in this area duncan b.c. stuck it on my bike and, oh my is this a beauty, stiffer than my boxxers same weight, and more progressive in compression, maxle makes front end work simple. i have no issues with this fork, rock shox have got a winner.
