$600.00 | | Purchased At: | CRC | | Strengths: | Look good | | Weaknesses: | Heavy, clunky, not very stiff | | Similar Products Used: | Fox 36's, Fox 32's, DJ1 | | Bike Setup: | Commie 4x | | Bottom Line: | Junk, 2.4kg is not light its almost 2lbs heavier than Fox RL's, and fox 36's are pretty much the same wieght and you can have 160mm of travel if you want. These things are a hugh waste of money. So much so I will never buy marz again, just like the rest of the forks they make they are cheap for a reason. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$500.00 | | Purchased At: | beyondbikes | | Strengths: | its stiff, light, ajustable, smooth and for it travel just 100mm its bottomless. | | Weaknesses: | it tops out giving a thud upon rebound. A fork of this amplitude should not be preforming in the manner.
I thought it contained a proper air cartridge, but its just mars usual air preload with a super long negitave
spring. So, it makes it feel overly stiff yet under sprung. | | Similar Products Used: | marz dj #1 04,marz dj #2 04, marz dj #2 06 and a RST space jump 08 (which to me has been the best perforer and fell at the bars.RST?=give it a try.) | | Bike Setup: | Transition double. set up for DJ,slope style, street and some light trail riding. Great bike. | | Bottom Line: | I got this fork this last couple of months when it went on sale. I had wanded this 4x for a long time but always thought it was too much for a 100mm dj fork.
Over all its really great, light, stiff and easy to adjust the air oil level and anthing else.
However as I mentioned above there are some performance problems. I will contiue to adjust the fork and set it up better, but if not I will maybe go back to the RST. Go figure.
If your looking for an extreamly stiff fork thats highly adjustiable its great.
If your looking for a high end top of the line fork like the 66 rc3 which i was you might not like it.
rc3 is great just as the 66 but the air spring is not up to par making for a stiff undersprung feel. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
