Bottom Line:
After riding the Wotan on 10 solid rides, I am still not convinced I like it better than the Fox. I feel like I get knocked off line easier at speed, perhaps because the chassis is so stiff. I am no lightweight (210lbs) and I have raced DH (on a different bike, of course). I had the Wotan custom tuned and I'm still not in love with it. It is a great fork, with a more lively feel side to side than the Fox. Also, I love the handlebar mounted lever for lowering the suspension, but it is very reluctant to extend back to a full 160 without stopping to do so. Even doing a wheelie while pushing the lever doesn't result in full extension the first try. Great fork with a different ride feel than Fox. Burly.
