Favorite Trail:Yellow hat
Duration Product Used:3 months
Strengths:Excellent all around fork, light, strong/stiff, lots of adjustment, once dialed in great control in rough terrain, takes big hits well.
Weaknesses:The seals are junk!!! I had the fork for one month and the seals crapped out. Oil every where and no air pressure left. Apparently the fix is a set of fox seals because they are the best. Luckily they fit!!!

Bike Setup:2009 Blur LT
Bottom Line:Beside the crappy seals (Magura fix this, what a weak problem)this fork is great! A real all mountain fork, get the fox seal kit upgrade and your set.

Date Reviewed: March 1, 2009
Duration Product Used:6 months
Purchased At:rebound cycle
Strengths:Adjustable travel, feels super solid. When you finally get this fork set up nice it's amazing. Reduced travel mode runs way plusher than 140mm, which lets you run over stuff instead of trying to avoid every rock and root when climbing steeps.
Weaknesses:It's a fine, fine line between too much and too little air without adjustable low speed compression, so it's simply more rideable to run lower air and use the platform, which gets rid of the substantial brake dive. To lose the brake dive without using the platform the amount of air needed results in a harsher ride than the platform. Suggested air pressure guide is out to lunch.

Bike Setup:giant reign w/ rp23
Bottom Line:accept the fact you have to use the platform and get one

Favorite Trail:neighborhood trail
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $900.00
Purchased At:universal cycles
Strengths:pretty light for an AM fork, travel adjust, remote (handle bar mounted), stiff, steers precisely, adjustments really change the feel of the fork
Weaknesses:haven't really found any yet
Similar Products Used:manitou nixon, marz z1 sl

Shimano XT front derailleur
Sram XO rear medium cage deraillleur
Shimano XTR M970 crankset
Time ATAC XS carbon pedals
Conti Vertical Pro front tire
Conti Vapor rear
Bottom Line:this is a really solid performing fork. i have no gripes with it, except for the fact it cost more than i would like to have paid. it's a true all mountain fork, lower it when heading up steep techy climbs and extend and enjoy the downs with the push of lever and unweighting of the fork. takes moderate drops with ease. i wouldn't call this a freeride fork. although it feels strong and is very stiff. just a really good fork. try one.

Strengths:Ajustable travel, light weight (1762g with star nut and uncut steerer tube, no axle or flight control remote), 20mm axle (Maxle 360 - 150g), platform (Albert Select Plus), self lubricated stanchions
Looks good!
Weaknesses:With AS+ turned on you can sometimes hear a hissing sound from the valves.
