Strengths: Very Light 3lbs exactly (32mm-100mm trav), Very Stiff, no detectable flex, Very simple setup, great XC race forkWeaknesses: Little less supple, then high end heavier 32mm-100mm travel Fox, No rebound, compression, or pedal platform adjustmentsBottom Line: Iam an older 185lb racer/trail rider, lots years of racing moto cross, Triathlons-Xterra road & off road racing & now mtb xc racing.
I know a good performing fork (for its intended purpose)when I ride one. THis is a great XC racing fork, very stiff in braking & in rough terrain, with great steering precision.
Could use a few more adjustment features, but at 3lbs it is Very light & it is ready to ride with just air pressure setup needed. Very simple, no poplock, or anything else to think about but where you point it. The pedal platform works pretty well, for a factory set feature.
Only a little less responsive on the small hits, then other heavier forks, seals drool a little, but it has been less & less with every ride.
