Strengths: Light, laterally stiff, plush, easy to lock out on the fly.Weaknesses: None so farBottom Line: I have the non-FCR model meaning I lock it out on the right side of the crown. This also means that it's not the adjustable travel model (90-120mm). It runs at 120mm full-time. The Albert Select platform is really cool. You can completely lock out the fork, or you can adjust the platform to a wide range of plushness. I love the dropouts which are angled at a 45 degree angle to the legs. This shock is a huge step up from the Tora that came on my Racer X. I believe Titus put an entry level fork on that bike in order to keep the cost from skyrocketing. The 120mm Durin Marathon made an already fast bike even faster!

Strengths: Feels nice and plush in the full travel setting. Laterally stiff, light weight.Weaknesses: FCR travel adjustment needs work. Interaction with service group was mediocre. Albert select combats FCR travel adjustment. Price.Bottom Line: The fork rides well and feels great in the 120mm setting (full travel). Albert select damping does it's job and provides good adjustability. The FCR idea is great, to adjust travel quickly via a handlebar mount by just pushing air into and out of chambers within the fork. However, I'm not impressed with the function. It turns out that when you adjust to lower travel, what you're actually doing is reducing the spring rate through air pressure reduction. The fork seems to still have the full travel range, it just rarely goes up to the top since the sag is increased by lowering the spring pressure. When climbing, which is when I want to reduce travel, this leads to excessive bobbing, and difficulty staying over the front of the bike. No problem, just turn on the Albert Select. Unfortunately, since the travel isn't actually prevented from going to full length, the bobbing now results in net travel increase. The fork still moves up with ease, but the AS keeps it from compressing as well, so the fork seems to return to full (or almost full) travel.
I sent it back thinking it was broken after talking to the service folks. They sent it back saying it was fine. That's just the way this fork works.
This fork is good is full travel mode, but the FCR is in my mind, a waste. Great idea, I hope they make it work someday. For now, TALAS or other adjustment systems are much better.
