Magic 29 110 (New for 2008!) Building on the success of the popular Magic 29 100, for 2008 you get 10mm more travel and an improved IMV damping system that allows a wider range of adjustment. Even with the extra travel, the Magic 29 110 retains the same axle-crown measurement as the competition’s 100mm fork. That’s like getting something for nothing! · 110mm travel · 4.0 lbs · Intelligent Magnetic Valve (IMV) damping · Oil bath · External platform threshold and rebound adjustment · QR or 20mm thru-axle

Strengths: Light, stiff, simpleWeaknesses: fussy to dial in, looks less capable than Fox, RockShox ,etc.Bottom Line: This fork is way different than many other forks I've used.... First, the funky aspects: it doesn't have the super plush feel that you can get with RockShox or Manitou. It also takes a little while to figure out the ride combo of air and dampening.
But, on the plus side.... once you get it figured out, this fork is SOLID. it is super rigid and rails corners. It is also very light (mine is 3.9 lbs). Even though it doesn't feel super squishy like the competition, it takes all the big hits I expect it too and the IMV works great- it has only a small amount of bob when I'm out of the saddle and doesn't require an additional lock-out mechanism/switch.
This fork is great and rides way better than one would expect it to based on initial inspection. It is probably better for a rider who doesn't mind tweaking with their gear for a while to get things dials. If you have no patience, get a Reba.

Strengths: Plush rideWeaknesses: the disc mount on the lower fork assembly was designed wrong. When pedaling with torque the fork flexes and the disc rubs against the fork. It gets bad at times. My local shop said they were aware of this to the point they didn't recommend White Brothers to anyone. They said WB did nothing for the customers who bought the fork and ended up buying Reba forks.Bottom Line: Poor R&D by White Brothers makes what I would imagine a good fork just a horrible fork and investment.
