Strengths: Reviewing the triple clamp version of this fork: Unbelievably stiff and strong! No flex from our Ventana El Conquistador what-so-ever! We have a Cannondale tandem with triple clamp fork, but typical quick release attachment. The Thru axle design is amazing! There is absolutely no, what I'm going to call "wheel flop" (as you turn your handlebar, at some point you feel the wheel suddenly flex to the side a little).Weaknesses: My only complaint is the lubricating system. Buttery smooth for about one week after performing maintenance, then all sorts of stiction develops. The only solution was to store the bike up-right against the wall, so the oil in the legs would run back to the top of the fork and lubricate the bushings. I finally solved this by adding an additional 20ml of 5W-20 Motor oil (yes thick MOTOR OIL), to the non-dampening side. Fork now functions flawlessly! I still have to store the bike upright every now and then to re-lube the bushings, but after that, buttery smooth again.Bottom Line: Extremely stiff, but for a fork that costs over $1,000 and needs constance maintenance (manual states perform after every 20 - 40 hours of riding) i'd expect some grease ports.
