Strengths: adjustable travel, super easy maintenance, plush, stiff
Weaknesses: bushing play
Bottom Line:
Love this fork. The bushings have some play in them. Having been on a Pike with no play I found it weird. So I sent it in for repair and SRAM said nothing is wrong. Every other Lyrik has the same bushing feel. Every Fox 36 fork I've seen has the same feel too. I don't notice it when riding, just when locking the front brake and rocking the bike back and forth.

Strengths: Does what it's supposed to do when it isn't broken.
Weaknesses: Sram's warranty department
Bottom Line:
This shock worked nicely until the rebound dampers blew after nine months of riding on average 30 miles of single track per week during the warm months. I understand that these things happen, but I have been without my bike for over a month now, because Sram (although they recognize it is their issue) can't/won't get the replacement parts for the fork to my local bike shop. They said that they have sent the parts (3 day ground, thanks for being so sympathetic about me being without my bike for a month, sram), but that was a week ago and now no one knows where the parts are. I will never use Sram products in the future, as it is clear that they do not care about their customers, or about the quality of their products. I give them the minimum number of stars, soley based on their awful customer service.

Strengths: very stiff, very adjustable, smooth, easy to service
Weaknesses: i had to deal w/ hydrolock which caused it to not function properly (taken care of by warranty). haven't gotten quite the rebound i desire but i am slightly heavy for the spring i have in there.
Bottom Line:
i had issues and couldn't get more than 90mm of travel. sram was very helpful and it has turned out to be a great purchase. it's very easy to service and simple. very adjustable, the travel adjust is great.
i would recommend the fork.

Strengths: STIFF. Tons of adjustability.
Weaknesses: None
Bottom Line:
This fork is the bomb! Mission Control adjustability allows you to really dial the fork in to all trail condx. I have used air forks for a long time now, and was worried that I would have to get a stiffer spring for this fork...but not so. Maxle 360 is stiff and easy to use. With this fork you can pick your own lines through any segment..no worries. If you need a tough AM fork, this is the one.

Strengths: Stiff, light, adjustable, just an all around great fork. U-turn is always a plus.
Weaknesses: None so far.
Bottom Line:
This fork is the best fork I have ridden, hands down. It is nearly as stiff as the freeride forks I have ridden, tracks the ground well, takes abuse, and is light and adjustable. I do everything on this bike (DH,FR,DJ,AM) and it has not let me down yet.

Strengths: Plush, simple adjustments, strength and firmness. What a fork should be.
Weaknesses: None so far
Bottom Line:
Truly an amazing fork, stiffness provides confidence and plushness allows tracking on all types of trails. Great fork for all riders without the hassle of air. I am an old motorcrosser and I believe there is nothing that replaces springs in forks. From the first ride I found myself able to close in on my riding partners on technical trails that I could not have done before.

Strengths: Plush, stiff enough for me and easy to set up.
Weaknesses: Not yet discovered.
Bottom Line:
This is the version WITHOUT Mission Control. It only has a simple turn-knob for compression damping. It works.
So the setup is really easy, I often change the compression on a ride.
I weigh 200lbs and have the "firm" spring installed, it is just perfect. No bottoimng out, no harshness.
I cant anything against this fork. It is so easy and plush to ride, and I dont have any troubles so far.
There is a little play in the bushings on the right side from the beginning. If the play increases I will let them change the bushings. So what.
Great fork - works!
Strengths: This is just an answer to the question the guy below or above (dont know) me have asked!!!
Weaknesses: Please, desconsider the chillis rating, since this is not the forks rewiel, as i sayed, this is just a solution for Smits problem!
Bottom Line:
Smits, i have a 2007 Domain 302 U-turn (UT), and the crackin noise you refer comes from the UT, i noticed that sometimes if dont extend the UT all the way (115mm) down or all the way up (160mm) the UT makes a crackin noise in the inside, and you can hear the sound reflecting on the crown, try to move your UT as much as you can to the top, or to the bottom, and check if the noise stops, it took me a while to figure that out, but at least in my case, the noise always comes from the UT. To complement, i would like to let you guys know that it is not at all mid-travel points that the UT will make noises, at 140mm, for exemple, it wont make any noise, but at 150mm or 135mm it will, so make some tests with your UT and figure it out.

Strengths: u-turn full travel available instead of 14omm talas 36... nice compression and rebound settings maxle!
Weaknesses: the fork started to produce a cracking sound in the area around the crown. don't know what it is... its getting worse.. especially when compressing the fork a little bit by hand or when riding fast rocky sections. hope it can be fixed or somebdy knows how to deal with this problem?
Bottom Line:
nice fork for the trail/enduro/allmountain/freeride light rider. stiff, but not as stiff as a 36. but way smoother than the stiction suffering and not fully travel returning 36 talas.
