this is my first air fork, coming off of a 2006 fox 40 this fork is like butter. it is extreamly smooth, easy to tune, no flex. the dials are easy to use and work very well.

Bottom Line:
this fork is very easy to tune, weight is very low. once it is tuned it will eat anything that you can give it.

Strengths:
light, the transition between compression and rebound is exceptionally smooth (when the fork is properly maintained)
Weaknesses:
it breaks and needs tons of maintenance and sram does not back their products, they are made overseas and their prices are no better than fox, which is made in america.

Bottom Line:
boxxers are garbage, I was riding monkey hands and i got off line and hit a rock, i stayed on and didn't really slow down that much, i heard the fork clank and all of a sudden the rebound damping was gone. the stanction tapers off internally the same way that it does where the compression adjust is on top. it sheared off there and the c clip that holds the damping in place fell out. Little pieces of metal got into the bushings and they needed to be replaced, something that rockshox has to do. So i sent it away and borrowed my mechanics boxxer race. During my final practice run the same thing happened to his fork, however i was not even off line. these forks are really light and they feel really good if you take good care of them. i took great care of mine and they felt awesome, at that point i was convinced that they were better than the fox. they dont ride as stiff or feel as stable but they are much lighter. i changed my mind, went back to the fox and am sorry i ever left, it is way stiffer, the stroke is equally smooth and they only break if stack it hard into the bush. Fox makes a far superior product

Strengths:
Everything, this work is just awsome, super smooth and good settings,and i wieght about 100kg..
Weaknesses:
None, maybe the high crown....and the price is a bit high. thats whay it gets 4 chillis in value rating..

This fork is just one of it's own, smooth on the dh and work to lithter freeride hucking, But the bottom line is that it's the best dh fork in history...
