Strengths: Solid feel, Good adjustability.Weaknesses: Product manual. No recommended air setup guide.Bottom Line: Good solid XC fork with Marzocchi's usual oily plush feel keeping things smooth. Setup seems quite stiff out of the box and offers plenty of feedback, The solid feel does give the impression of a well engineered XC fork thats equipped to deal with anything XC riding can throw at it.
The crown and arch are beefier than the 2007 fork.
I wouldnt think twice about jumping logs and simular stuff on the trail.
New for 2008 is the ETA system, and it does compress the fork down for minimal travel while climbing.
Has the feel of a fork that should have more travel, bit disapointing when it runs out at 100mm, but good if you have frame geometry to consider.
