Favorite Trail:Whistler
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $400.00
Purchased At:Ebay
Strengths:Bottomless Travel, Lots of adjustments, strong.
Weaknesses:Little heavy (what can you expect from a 180mm though), took a while to break in.
Similar Products Used:Drop off 3, Manitou Travis 180
Bike Setup:IronHorse 7 Point,66 RCV, Demo pedals, Cane creek Lanusse headset.
Bottom Line:I bought these off of a guy who got this with his Demo 7 and He ride these about 5 times. Took a while to break in and get to my softness (138 pounds). These things make my riding so much better and they are so smooth with the bottomless travel. Have not bottomed them out once. Have had no problems with the internals or anything so I am very pleased.

Favorite Trail:C in Snowshoe
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $1352.00
Purchased At:Mountain Adventure C
Strengths:super plush, rides great, i love the big hit capability
Weaknesses:a little heavy, my preload knob broke off pretty fast, but i got that fixed pretty quik
Bike Setup:2008 Kona Stinky
Bottom Line:great fork. i love riding it, it felt amazing off of a 14ft drop. alot better then my last fork(a sherman) dont buy this fork if you are a cross country rider, it bobs and is a pretty heavy, if you love freeride/downhill and dont want the restrictions of a dual crown fork then this a great fork

Favorite Trail:mt bawbaw
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $2000.00
Purchased At:Farkin (came on the
Strengths:Looks amazing, Super strong forks that can take massive hits, adjustments work fantastic, plush easy to tune fork. Took this fork off a 10 foot drop to flat and didnt bottom out but was very smooth landing. The fork is also very reliable, as soon as i got them i tuned them how i like them and have left them for a year and still work perfectly.
Weaknesses:Not too many adjustments, little heavy but that's what u pay for the extremely good reliability.
Similar Products Used:totem solo air, 888RCV, Boxxers.
Bike Setup:2008 kona stinky with about $700 worth of upgrades
Bottom Line:Great fork, Takes all the abuse and so reliable,
Just set and forget.

Favorite Trail:Any
Duration Product Used:Tested or demo'ed only
Strengths:Very strong. Can take hits. good big hit and big bump performance.
Weaknesses:bad small bump damping
Similar Products Used:Marz 888
Bike Setup:08' Kona Stinky. stock. hayes stroker trails, fox van shock, etc.
Bottom Line:I got this on my rental bike in winter park. overall it was pretty good. though after a couple days my hands hurt really bad because it doesn't have very good small bump damping. I know its supposed to be a big hit fork but it would be good if it had better small dump damping. From what i could tell, it was very strong. it took all the hits i threw at it without bottoming. It even didn't bottom when the shock did and didn't bottom on a 6 foot drop to flat( by the way, i'm like 210 pounds). Big hit capabilities are great, but small bumps need work.

Weaknesses:WEAK unreliable!
Similar Products Used:rock shox boxxer, totem, currently using the domains
Bike Setup:cheetah extraviganza, 8,8 hydro discs. hayes, domain 318's at 160mm
Bottom Line:these forks are garbage have had so many god dam problems. i hate marzocchi. decent pair of forks for 1 month then the seals would leak and stop leaking automatically something broke and rattles in the fork. too soft then i broke them going off a 14 foot drop to 50 degree hill then to ladder step up onto another dh run in whistler (OUT OF BOUNDS IN CONSTRUCTION TRAIL) finished the ladder then BOOM forks blew up after i dropped to a 13 foot flat. i was pissed. theres some bad apples in the marzocchi lineup look out. id go rockshox havent had a problem... yet.

Favorite Trail:dirty monkey
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Strengths:not much so far
Weaknesses:fork rode like poo, it was awefull, no matter what I set it to, it bounced around like a pinball. I ran it with full slow rebound and it bounced off rocks and I could not keep the bike on track, rode it full fast rebound and it topped out terribly, ran it in the middle and it still bounced off rocks.....
Similar Products Used:I have ridden shivers, boxxers, 888's fox 40's, fox 36's, sherman's
Bike Setup:2008 kona park edition stinky
Bottom Line:I will need some time on this fork to try and tune it.... definately something wrong with the way it rode today. I really prefer my sherman, and it is far from a great fork.

Submitted by Paul a Downhiller from NH
Date Reviewed: June 4, 2008
Duration Product Used:3 months
Strengths:Feels and performs like a dual crown fork.
Weaknesses:Well I did hit a drop kinda hard on the front fork so I don't know if my problems are from that or not.
Anyways the rt from lower seal was not in straight causing oil on the stancions. The qr axle is coming loose after a couple of full on DH runs. I think I fixed this by removing some of the grease from the ratchet mechanism. Last thing is I can see and feel flex at the top dust seal and the stancion tube. I assume that the play must be coming from the bushing but I don't have any oil leaking.
I will be taking it back to my lbs to check it out.
Bike Setup:08 Giant Glory 1.
Bottom Line:Performance is great but the jury is still out on the play in the fork.
