Strength:

Saved my hip big time in a recent stack. If I wasn't wearing these I'd hate to think how my hip would have faired. Has very good coverage over the legs, hips and tailbone

Weakness:

Not the most comfortable to wear, not as comfortable as the Elite bomber shorts, also arn't skin tight. Chamos is also a bit light on.

If you can't afford to get injured then you've got to get something like this. I like to ride fast downhill through some pretty rough stuff, and if I come off then I need these. Note that the medical bills will far out way the cost of these. Just a wee bit annoying with the padding on the upper part which tends to rub the hips during peddling.
