Sometimes a tiny bit of added complexity actually simplifies the way things work. That's the case with the Deda RS01 Seatpost. We're not saying that it's tough to install, quite the opposite in fact. The truth is we like two-bolt seatpost clamp assemblies like the one Deda uses here. And while we have fond memories of our old Campagnolo Record one-bolt post, most single-bolt posts lack the fine adjustment of two-bolt clamps, and some just plain slip out of adjustment. The Deda RS01 Seatpost is 3D forged from 6061 aluminum alloy. The forging process yields an aligned grain structure within the alloy and therefore high strength. This makes it very durable as the shaft and base for the clamp assembly are created in one piece. It's available in Polished Black and White and comes in 31.6mm diameter only. The clamp setback is 21mm and the length is 350mm.
