Strength:

Light, looks nice

Weakness:

Clamp does not hold seat in place

The clamp design on this seat post makes it a poor choice. The post head design is two smooth conical bores. When the bolt is tightened two matching smooth plastic conical pieces are supposed to hold the seat in place. During the period of time this post was installed I tried numerous things to get the clamp to hold the seat in place. Disassembly and cleaning (X3), thread lock, adhesive on plastic and bore, ridiculous torque values. This seat regularly and intermittently allowing the seat to move greatly reduced the enjoyment of numerous rides. Finally replaced it with a cheaper carbon post with traditional clamp and have not had a problem since. One chili rating because the poor clamp design mitigates any other redeeming features this post might have. When the front of your seat is pointing up at a 45 angle during a ride nothing else matters.

Strength:

Very light.
Adjustable head.
Strong clamp.
Very good quality

Weakness:

None thus far....

The clamp is very strong and holds the saddle very securely. I've actually forgotten it's there because it works so well and have yet to have any issues. Nice upgrade from my stock OEM seat post and it's carbon fibre. You cannot go wrong.......

Strength:

It is pretty to look at.

Weakness:

The seatpost binder does not hold the saddle no matter how much you torque the bolt. Hit a bump, your seat will come nose up to 45 degrees and wack you in a very bad spot. Had a friend buy the same seatpost on same bike, same problem...

Do not buy it unless you like getting hit in your most special place...

People always look at me weird when they see my seatpost / seat set up. Because, frankly, they belong on a roadbike. I race downhill, but light weight is very important to me. Since only a few dh races require you to sit down and pedal for an extended period of time (fontana, sea otter), a roadbike set up sounded like a good idea to save weight without any risk.

I have had this seatpost for almost a year and it has held up great. The carbon-fiber post has stayed strong and the clamp never budges. It looks really good and saves a ton of weight compared to other seatposts. For the type of riding I do, it has done perfectly and I would recommend it to any downhiller looking to save some weight. I know they are pricey, I just got lucky and took it from my dad ><

Get one if you have the funds and the need to save some weight!!
