The much anticipated Kranked 4 is here and its non-stop formula of sick and twisted freeriding is raising the dead as the crew at Radical once again pushes the limits of hardcore mountain biking into the stratophsere. Herculean stunts flow nonstop throughout this 16mm masterpice.
Strengths: This movie is possibly the best assembled one I have ever seen other than Disorder II. All the scenes w/superheroes & rocky mountain guys is still burning in my mind.
Weaknesses: Slightly too long. Ryan Leech was way too long. When it was over, I had the Lord of the rings syndrom because my legs hadn't moved in 65 minutes.
Bottom Line:
If you just want something to stare at for an hour, or something to draw motivation from, this movie is THE best.
One of the best movies out there from the best company around. 1nude scene (male gross only shows hair and ass), and liitle to no swearing (does include f***). I also recomend freewheel burning.
Strengths: Great riders + stunning biking, wonderful landscape shots, high technical standard.
Weaknesses: Crappy Tippie-scenes as everyone says - really annoying. I preferred the skeleton in K3. 50% of the music's awful, rest is ok.
Bottom Line:
Compared to K2&3, K4 was quite annoying, forcing me to fastforward too often. Still cant find any scenes that really stay in memory - K3 was really great in comparison! Hopefully K5 reaches and surpasses that level!!

Strengths: This movie has some insane footage, and insane stunts with some of the best freeriders in the world. One great thing about this movies is that it was shot on a VERY high budget. They use state of the art cameras, go all around the world, and have really well thought out camera angles.This movie is pretty long too, and considering how much it cost Radical Films to make the price is considerably low:)
Weaknesses: There is only two things which i do not like about this video. First- The north shore part is alot weaker then anything on any of the NSX (north shore extreme) videos, i beleive they could have spent some more time on that. Second- If your like me, when you buy a biking video you watch it over and over again, well all the jokes staring Brett Tippie can get a bit anoying after a while... Ive found myself continuesly fast forwarding over them
Bottom Line:
This movie has GREAT footage for the most part, it is a good quality FREERIDE mountain biking movie. If you prefer to watch riding around the world, seeing exciting cool, yet abstract biking spots i definatley recommend this movie. BUT if you are more into north shore type of riding i would definatley an NSX type of movie instead. The value of this movie is great, but im just disapointed in the shore part.

Strengths: solid footage
Weaknesses: a wee bit repetative, the cut-scenes were absolutly rediculous, and unless you really like rap-core (and it's bad, even for rap-core), hit the mute and find an alternative means for music. the morocco scene was brutal.
Bottom Line:
a pretty good video as far as the biking goes. if you want story line, (or better yet, no story line) look elsewhere.
Strengths: Excellent free ride vid! Some all round great riding with some superb scenery!
Weaknesses: The reason why it only gets 4 flaming turds is as someone else has mentioned the scene in Morocco, which could be deemed offensive.
Bottom Line:
Seems alot of reviewers are just plain stupid. Why did u buy a freeride video and then complain 'Its got no downhill bits!' or 'Some of the stuff is DANGEROUS!' Please wake up. I personally really liked the Tippie jokes,2 Thumbs up!

Strengths: The Quebec City ASSAULT from the superhereos. The north shore with Danger, Wade, and Vanderham. The trials with Leetch. I dont care what anybody says, i like the Tippie story line. All in all, theres nothing ground breaking, but there is LOTS of good quality riding.
Weaknesses: Nothing ground breaking, but who cares when theres that much Good Quality Riding.
Bottom Line:
This movie is awesome. Dont believe any of the other reviews. Just download it off Kazaa or something. Cant beat the price.

Weaknesses: I baught the video to see mountain biking, not some guy in a Viper driving fast or carzy figh scenes.
Bottom Line:
Go to your local video store and rent Fast and The Furious. Watch fight scenes and cars. Looks like the producer got lost somewhere and put stuff in this video that makes no sense. What happened, Kranked 3 was great ?????????
