lilloet footage and head cams provoke both anticipation and nausea.

    tested or demo'ed only
    Strengths:
    Nice footage
    good riders
    Just long enough
    Good locations
    Weaknesses:
Doesn't leave you yearning to watch it again
    Similar Products Used:

Bottom Line:The bottom line is that this is a good video to watch. I like biking and I like freeriding but doing it is much more fun than watching. Don't buy this video it is a waste of money. I have only seen it once and I don't have any urge to see it again. Not that it wasn't good but that is just how I feel about it

    Strengths:
great footage, talented filming, awesome bikesMy favourite scene is the one of Johhny T. and H-Ball. Those gys still rock
    Weaknesses:
the individual takes are too short. I want to see these guys actually land some of the stuff. If that guy who was heading right for the camera actually hit the camera, I wanna see it!
Bottom Line:Definitely an enjoyable movie; worth seeing

    Favorite Trail:
    Ladies Only
    Duration Product Used:
    6 months
    Strengths:
    - North Shore + Kamloops footage
    Weaknesses:
    - the race between Palmer and Lopes (plain boring)
    - the interviews or comments
    - the credits seemed liked they took up half the movie time
    - too glossy
    - the footage of riding steps and wheeling in Itay (?) , that was just stupid, couldn't stop laughing
    Similar Products Used:
NSX 1 and 2 , chainsmoke (what a crappy flick)
Bottom Line:Pretty Boring movie except for the North shore stuff. The Kamloops footage was okay but got a ltittle tiresome after awhile. I can't believe the Palmer race was put iin - it just wrecked the whole flow to the movie (and it was boring).I like the NSX series much better.

    Weaknesses:
poor soundtrack, it is also pretty short.
    Similar Products Used:
kranked, chainsmoke, nsx, plush, outer extremities, bragging rights, terrafirma 4, pulp traction, etc.
Bottom Line:not as good as the first one. but it is definetly worth seeing just for the north shore section. also, kelowna and kamloops sections are really great. big ry couldn't ride anything in kamloops so he should shut-up.

    Duration Product Used:

    Strengths:

    Weaknesses:
Short. Lamest beginning I've ever seen.
    Similar Products Used:
    Tread, Re-Tread
    Bike Setup:
    Joshua XO
Bottom Line:I have mixed feelings about this video. Do you like to see guys riding down steep powdered dirt hills, get this video. It's looks more like they are snowboarding. Besides some trails like riding in BC, most of the video is guys riding off drop offs on bikes with shocks with massive travel. There are a few crashes. The music is fast beat rock, as usual. Better than anything you'll see on TV.

    Strengths:
    Was cheaper than original KRANKED
    Weaknesses:
    Wasn't cheap enough
    Similar Products Used:
KRANKED, Chainsmoke, NSX I & II
Bottom Line:This video bites. Can't believe it's made by the same guys who made KRANKED. Soundtrack sucks, terrain less interesting, riding doesn't break any new ground. Of the half dozen mountain bike vids I own, this is the only one that I'm indifferent to watching again. Two chilis for the Canadian scenery.

Submitted by Roger a Weekend Warrior from Tacoma
    Date Reviewed: May 31, 1999
    Duration Product Used:
    less than 1 month
    Strengths:
Professionally done, great photography, good first-person perspective shots
    Weaknesses:
Soundtrack is pretty weak; Too similar to original Kranked
    Similar Products Used:
Kranked, Outer Extremities, Plush, Chainsmoke, etc...
Bottom Line:This video doesn't break ground the way the original did, it just picks up where the first left off. The North Shore stuff was SICK, but the rest of the tape was very similar to the first Kranked (only a little bigger and more scenic). The helmet-cam stuff was pretty decent (makes the steeps look as scary as they really are). The riding is getting to the point where Kranked III may spend more time in the trauma ward than the trails.

Great shots from around the world.
    Good soundtrack.
    Wicked Riders.
    The list goes on...
    Weaknesses:
    Good soundtrack, not great.
Could use a bit longer Shore scene.
Could be a bit longer, period.
    Similar Products Used:
Kranked, North Shore eXtreme, North Shore eXtreme II, A bunch of boring old videos.
    Bike Setup:
    Doesn't really matter...
Bottom Line:This is a Sick Sick video. This beats out NSX2 because of the variety. This is THE one to get. Simply great.

    Favorite Trail:
    Mary's Loop (fruita, co.)
    Duration Product Used:
    less than 1 month
    Strengths:
Bitchen footage, cinematography. Nice Locations, crazy friggin riders, sick toys, hot naked babes...
    Weaknesses:
Music needs work. Footage from Kamploomps, or wherever the hell those gravel pits are, is getting tired. Not to say it's not sick, though...
    Similar Products Used:
Kranked, All the Crusty Demons flicks, and other surf, skate, snowboard vids...
    Bike Setup:
18 Sour Glass with bulb, some homegrown kind, and a six pack of Sierra Nevada.
Bottom Line:Good flick, all in all. What Kranked 1 should have been. The riding is getting out of hand. Definite BMX influences throughout. These guys are just sick..

    Bottom Line:

I have not seen this video yet. But judging from some of the pictures I have seen, so far it looks like a kick ass video. Since I liked Kranked one so much I figured this one should be good to. In this video they should show more people getting huge air. I will post another review once I see the movie.
