Strengths:    This is a great magazine. It provides detailed information on mountain biking from every part of New England. And the magazine lists over 1,000 'follow-the-leader' rides, all over New England, that are open to everyone.

Bottom Line:
If you live in New England you should be a member of The New England Mountain Bike Association, and if you were you'd be getting this neat magazine for free.

Strengths:
Regional information/
access to group rides/
could save your local trail from closure

Weaknesses:
Only 6 times a year

Bottom Line:
Single Tracks is the best way to keep your finger on the pulse of New England advocacy, events, and happenings. The bi-monthly mag. is free with a year NEMBA membership($20). By joining NEMBA you will no longer feel guilty about trail maintance or giving back to your local trails. This organization is made up of serious riders that are a blast to ride with. Many MTBers feel they don't have time to join such an organization, but the reality is that by joining alone you increase NEMBA's political clout. Join NEMBA, meet cool bikeheads that will lead you the secret local single track stash, and help save the trails!
