Favorite Trail:McKenzie River
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $10.00
Purchased At:Picked up at coffee shop
Strengths:This magazine really captures what it's like to just be in love with bikes--not how to be the most insane rider on the trails or how to optimize your diet or anything like that. There are articles/stories from all perspectives (serious, casual; roadie, mountain, etc.).

As someone who is not serious enough to care about every last technical detail on the latest model of bike, but just LOVES the feeling of riding silently down hills and being warm from riding even on the coldest (and wettest) days, this magazine fits in perfectly with my idea of what bikes can do. They can make people free, they can be art, they can push people to be the best that they can (and love it)!
Weaknesses:The current schedule, with only two issues per year. But if that's what it takes to keep quality up, so be it.
Similar Products Used:Other bike mags that have never warranted my subscription money.
Bottom Line:This is not necessarily a highly-informative magazine (but they're only on their first issue so who knows what future issues will be like). This magazine reminds me why I fell in love with biking and inspires me to keep riding!

Date Reviewed: June 25, 2003
Duration Product Used:6 months
Strengths:High quality magazine with very nice photos of trails and riding. I liked the interview in the first issue very much. I am looking forward to seeing what is in the next issue.
Weaknesses:No weaknesses so far.
Similar Products Used:Bike, Dirt Rag
Bottom Line:I bought a subscription before the first one was published and was very happy with the first issue. If future issues are of the same quality then this magazine should be around for a while and will be worth the read.
