Strengths: Hilarious! this magazine makes me want to read, articles will make you laugh!
Weaknesses: based out of the uk, but the only reason this is a weakness is becasue i live in the USA and its hard to find, and subscription process is a lil difficult. its also a bit pricey
Bottom Line:
Great magazine, huge good quality photos (and lots of 'em) many different articles on all types of riding, different bikes/manufacturers, funny stories, interviews, and coverage on most major events. this is not a pathedic little booklet on mountain biking it is a huge magazine that has plenty to offer for everyone. subscribe and you won't regret it
I really like this magazine. I subscribed one year ago and I'm going to renew my subscription. Reading that magazine is the closest thing to riding! Pictures are awesome. Not politically correct... and no boring XC race in it :-)
Strengths: Brilliant articles, Amazing photography and layout, makes you wanna ride, the people who write it are actualy involved in the scene..
Weaknesses: Only out every 2 months
Bottom Line:
Brilliant magazine... makes you want to ride. photography is stunning, like the guy below, i showed the guys at a local photography shop a mag, to see how a certain effect was done; they now have a shop sub, and leave them out on the counter for customers to read!! Good way to promote the sport!
Yea, all those people having trouble getting it, just get a sub, you get a t-shirt, and have it dropped onto the mat for a year! nice! It's comparatively cheap as well..
Strengths: Superior to every other bike mag I've seen
Bottom Line:
This publication has more useful information in any two given pages than the American bike mags have between the covers. It is NOT expensive - it's priced about twice what other mags are, but it's bimonthly, so over the year, the cost is about the same. When you factor in the totally superior product tests, interesting rider interviews and the great quality of photos/graphics, this publication comes out a bargain. The only bike mag I read from cover to cover.
Hey, DIRT, keep the BMX stuff in your magazine. Don't be swayed by the critics - leave the two-wheeled snobbery to the roadies.
Strengths: its full of good stuff not panto cr*p like MBUK! also it has no trials sh*t or XC just good BSX and DH! quality reviewes and hot pics of quality riders! and not just of the to pro's like cheesy bull sh*t peat (hes good but hell he's anoying!) anyway, quality mag,........better than MBUK by miles......thats all i have to say.
Weaknesses: doesn't have me in it. Only out once every 2 months
Bike Setup: Either Azonic DS1 or Rocket FAB stage 1 (depends which gets wealded an sprayed first, coz i cracked them both). Duels, XT all round, Blackspire DS1, hope big uns and C2 disk set f+r. Azonic piramid bars, Mavic 321 f+r, tyres depend, pink scott grips (Nice!!!).
Strengths: God like, sums up riding for me. written by riders for riders. doesn't lick anyones ass (BCF, Sponsors, certain riders,) like MBUK does. Good reviews, actualy test the bike's for what they are intended for, ('no MBUK, the Intense doesn't go up hills very well does it, surprising that'). Superb photos, the guys at the local photography shop where my mate works are now subscribers (they don't ride)!!! Quality articles on stuff i actualy give a s**t about (not some s**t about Barbie!).
Doesn't just concentrate on the big riders, has loads of up and coming young 'uns, the ladees and the older guys. I prefer reading about the guys that i chatted to at the last race than the international superstar who hasn't got enough time to race the smaller races!
Weaknesses: only out every 2 months.
Bottom Line:
Ruling, it makes me want to ride big time.
All the forgeners who cant get it; why dont you get a subscription, i think its cheaper as well.

Strengths: -Not american!!!!!!! -sweet kit I'd never heard of -lots of stuff: pics, words, good UK companies -has lots of dirt in the pictures rather than palm trees or some other stupid thing you find in American mags -dual bikes! ...etc
Weaknesses: $11CND = Fuc|<1n expensive in Montreal
could somebody email me up if they know of a cheaper way to get it round here?
Bottom Line:
Why bother get anything else? If you don't have the cash don't buy a magazune at all. It doesn't have urban stuff but nobody else does either. I think i'll ring up the guys there and tell so.
Strengths: Good layout, photos, reviews. Writen by riders.
Weaknesses: None really, could have more pages, maybe?
Bottom Line:
This mag rules. Its cheaper than MBUK with the bonus of not having all the XC stuff that doesn't interest some people. If you want a good quality mag about BSX and DH then get this, because nothing else comes close to the quality.
Strengths: Best downhill and BSX mag out, nothing else comes close to it.
Weaknesses: None
Bottom Line:
This mag rules, its just about riders getting back to there roots and thrashing the trails and having a good time. None of this corporate hype/crap. Excellent reviews that really give the riders perspective. By far the best and the funniest DH and BSX mag around.
Favorite Trail: UrBaN Assult/ wrandees /st francis dirt jumps

Strengths: This is the best mag I've seen out there. I found it 'cause I was lot in Houston Texas???? and I got into this magazine shop and paid for it. It has great product reviews, interviews, lots of DH and DS pictures. Not sure why there's no such a mag like that in Canada or US.
Weaknesses: Price, it comes out once every two months.
Bottom Line:
if you are a downhiller try to get this mag, it doesn't talk about all that XC crap and there's no pictures of guys wearing lycras.
