$7.00 | | Strengths: | Hilarious! this magazine makes me want to read, articles will make you laugh! | | Weaknesses: | based out of the uk, but the only reason this is a weakness is becasue i live in the USA and its hard to find, and subscription process is a lil difficult. its also a bit pricey | | Similar Products Used: | dirt rag, mba neither of which are as good as DIRT | | Bike Setup: | ibex iggy supa | | Bottom Line: | Great magazine, huge good quality photos (and lots of 'em) many different articles on all types of riding, different bikes/manufacturers, funny stories, interviews, and coverage on most major events. this is not a pathedic little booklet on mountain biking it is a huge magazine that has plenty to offer for everyone. subscribe and you won't regret it | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

Good way to promote the sport!
Yea, all those people having trouble getting it, just get a sub, you get a t-shirt, and have it dropped onto the mat for a year! nice! It's comparatively cheap as well.. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Edmonton, AB Date Reviewed: April 30, 2002 | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Strengths: | Superior to every other bike mag I've seen | | Similar Products Used: | Every bike mag in the Western world | | Bike Setup: | XC, road, DH, BMX....you name it | | Bottom Line: | This publication has more useful information in any two given pages than the American bike mags have between the covers. It is NOT expensive - it's priced about twice what other mags are, but it's bimonthly, so over the year, the cost is about the same. When you factor in the totally superior product tests, interesting rider interviews and the great quality of photos/graphics, this publication comes out a bargain. The only bike mag I read from cover to cover.
Hey, DIRT, keep the BMX stuff in your magazine. Don't be swayed by the critics - leave the two-wheeled snobbery to the roadies.

Good reviews, actualy test the bike's for what they are intended for, ('no MBUK, the Intense doesn't go up hills very well does it, surprising that'). Superb photos, the guys at the local photography shop where my mate works are now subscribers (they don't ride)!!! Quality articles on stuff i actualy give a s**t about (not some s**t about Barbie!).
Doesn't just concentrate on the big riders, has loads of up and coming young 'uns, the ladees and the older guys. I prefer reading about the guys that i chatted to at the last race than the international superstar who hasn't got enough time to race the smaller races!
| | Weaknesses: | only out every 2 months. | | Similar Products Used: | Most/All | | Bike Setup: | do you really care??? | | Bottom Line: | Ruling, it makes me want to ride big time.
All the forgeners who cant get it; why dont you get a subscription, i think its cheaper as well. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

It is geared towards a sweet DS, jumping, urban assault type of riding that is largly ignored over here. The quality of layout and design is on par with some of the best British music and style magazines and is better than the already good BIKE mag. The racing articles are all featuring British riders, so they might not be that engaging. However, I recomend this mag just as much as I would MBA, Mountain Bike, or Bike. All good magazines that fill a differnt niche. | Overall Rating: |

If it's DH and DS coverage you wnat, go to Britishmagazines.com and get a subscription. WOW! Check out all those bikes and equipment that'snot available in the good 'ol US of A!!!! The only downside to this mag is it's almost impossible to find in the USA... What a bummer.
