Strengths:
good solid coverage of all that goes on outdoors near richmond, roanoke, charlottesville, harrisonburg, or anywhere in central va.

Weaknesses:
i no longer live close enough to be a regular contributor. the product reviews can be relatively hodge podge (sorry jeb).

Bottom Line:
this magazine is solid. i've had a chance to see what is offered in other towns in the form of local outdoor coverage, and for the most part, they're all just re-hashed outdoor advertisements. these folks in downtown c-ville have it together. you can count on them to cover a race and to tell you how it happened. you can get the goods on where to go to do what you want to do outside. and it's free. what more could you want?
