Strengths:Pictures speak a thousand words.
Also contains quite a bit for older components so you don't feel left out.
Weaknesses:In some small areas, it doesn't warn of you potential danger if you make a mistake, but that's hardly the book's fault.

Bottom Line:Great book. Very good for beginners. Perfect for the DIY. If you know bikes really well, this isn't the book for you.

Strengths:Pictures show all those hard to do jobs. The hints and methods used to fix and repair bikes rocks!!

Strengths:Fantastic, easy to follow sections. Color photos for everything. They repair products that an entry-mid level cyclist is likely to encounter.
Weaknesses:Absolutely none
Similar Products Used:Anybody's bike book, magazines, web sites.
Bike Setup:Cannondal SR 400 & a Specialized Hardrock GX Sport MTB.
Bottom Line:Outstanding. Don't even think about buying another book.

The Bike Book Is The Best Book About Cycle Repair I Know Of!!
Everything is in full colour. The pics are taken by Steve Behr so there is obvousley no problems there. The text is well writen and humerous (this helps when you are board of bike JARGON [there is a jargon section for when you dont understand])
