Strengths:
100 Trails, with challenging trails listed within the book.Weaknesses:
Directions are not always clear or up to date.Bottom Line: This book is the best guide I've seen for trails in Northern Nevada and California. A general rule is to ride the trail out of the book and then go back if you like it. From there you can find different routes and do some exploring. WARNING: The directions in the book are not always accurate or clear (I know this is encouraging . . ) However, if you allow some extra time and ride with a computer, then you should be ok. This book is MUCH better than asking an LBS for directions (but the latter is still very good). 5 flamers because this bike has helped me find a lot of good dirt.

Strengths:
A large detail of trails in California and Nevada. A good representation of good trails.Weaknesses:
Directions are not always clear or up to date.Bottom Line: This is a great book to find trails all over California and Nevada. I have used it with minimal complaints. When riding a new trail from this book, the reader must expect to get lost before and during the ride (some times more than others). This book is GREAT for giving a lot of alternative riding in your area (if you're in No. Cal and NV). Good book, has helped me see a lot of dirt.
