Strengths: gives great insight into what it takes to win the tour de france. also tells about lance's ongoing work for cancer survivors everywhere. a lot of lance's personal life is covered. after reading this book, you WILL NOT believe that lance is a doper.
Weaknesses: lance can come across as being a bit arrogant at times.
Bottom Line:
this is a very interesting read, especially if you read lance's first book. it tells a lot about the training and strategy needed to win a tour de france. i especially enjoyed the sections where lance described his battles with jan ullrich. has some incredible stories about the off season drug testing he has endured, including once while his wife was going into labor with their twins! buy it or get it at your local library and read it this winter while the trails are too wet for riding.
