Strengths: It's small.Weaknesses: Based on reviews on this site, I purchased the Pack, on a two for one price. What a waste and a mistake! There is not much to like about this pack. The reservoir is nearly impossible to place into the pack when filled, and the whole procedure is too complicated. The straps are flimsy and cheaply made, plus the valve leaks all of the time. The pack itself is partially composed of hard plastic. This is just an all around POS.
This has got to be the closest thing to a total piece of dung that I have ever purchased. Would NEVER have bought it if I could have handled it - whoever recommends this pack is an idiot.Bottom Line: Don't buy this total piece of junk. I wish I didn't.

Bottom Line: Great pack, great style. It's small enough to look sleek on your back and doesn't contribute too much aerodynamic drag. Haven't tried racing with it yet but won't think twice about doing it. Yes I won't go for epic rides with it (I have the HAWG for that) but it's perfect for everything else. If you discipline your water intake then it can last up to 3 hours. It's also relatively easy to clean - I normally just rinse both reservoir and tube thoroughly with hot water after using it and let it air dry. My mouthpiece does leak a little but it's something I can live with. As for bag capacity, it's enough for bare essentials like wallet, car keys, a snack bar or two, and maybe a small tool. Obviously the less water you carry, the more space you have for other stuff. Hydrapak has recently been bought over by another company - let's hope they continue to make this great product...if you can find it, don't think about it. Just buy it.

Strengths: Easy to fill with water and ice cubes. The top seals tight and the mouthpiece doesn't leak. Plenty of room for tools and cell phone in back pocket.Weaknesses: None. It is perfect for two hour rides in the heat.Bottom Line: Great buy for the money. Does what it was designed to do. Also is great cushion when you go over backwards. Very sturdy construction. This is the right pack for week day rides of two hours or less. Comfortable fit has good harness.

Strengths: Good Looks, Easy to fill, Good fit.Weaknesses: NoneBottom Line: This is a very nice product. There are no leaks form the valve, as some folks have seen on other Hydropack products. However, this is not a bite valve, so taking a drink requires a different technique. The valve also locks closed to prevent accidental spills. This is a fairly streamlined system that fits snugly with plenty of straps and adjustments. I don't even notice it. It has a large interior pocket separated from the pocket for the bladder. Within the big pocket is a smaller pocket for keys etc. It is very easy to fill and clean because of the roll up opening. With a 70 oz capacity, it is not intended for rides over 3 hours or so. I have even emptied it in an hour and a half. However, because of its size, don't expect to take a lot of extra stuff with you. I give it style points for matching the bike.
