Strength:

Looks tough

Weakness:

Too small to fit rim.

I got two Vredestein V-XC's for free through someone who works at the factory. Tried do fit them onto two different types of rims, but you can only fit them with a long metal lifter. Your standard plastic lifter will snap! They are actually too small to fit any rim. Once they're on, you get worried what to do when it gets punctured on the trail. Probably have to find a garage with a car tire machine to get it off. I only managed to get them off using a very long screwdriver. Because it is too small, proper seating of the tire is not possible; the seating line is invisible at some sections, and there is no way to change that. The result is a wobbly tire - when it is spun, the profile zig zags. Do yourself (and your fingernails) a favor: do not even consider buying or fitting these tires, not even if you get them for free.
