Favorite Trail:life is a trail
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Strengths:good for a stock tire has a pretty long life compared to some
Weaknesses:easaly penitrated
Similar Products Used:tioga psychos specialized hardrock wtb velocaraptors umm some others as well?
Bike Setup:kona blast
Bottom Line:i used these for winter and off road replaced for commuting wit the tioga and the hardrock. for a stock tire there a good tire they dont hook up like the velociraptors but they shead mud better and last longer too. the togia are well toast and the hardrock is a joke so in my opion there not bad at all but there are diffentally better tires out there and there diffentallly alot worse one too.

Date Reviewed: February 8, 2000
Favorite Trail:neds
Duration Product Used:6 months
Strengths:rear:great traction for any surface other than pavement, lots of roling resistance(keeps you fit), noisy (hikers hear you coming)
Weaknesses:wear quickly, lots of pinch flats
Bike Setup:Kona Lava Dome, Z-4, and many other upgrades
Bottom Line:the rear tyre corners well and will climb anything as long as you legs will crank you up. sheds mud and even holds well on wet roots and rocks. 75% worn after only 7 months of riding on various terrain.
front tends to wash out but my skill level is ever improving and I'm not sure if it is me or the tyre.
5* for rear, 3* for front
